Welcome to the New Inn
There are many exceptional reasons to stay at New Inn, from the friendly staff, home baking and Bea's amazing scones. The bedrooms are cosy and very comfortable, some with fascinating views over the village, harbour and Bristol Channel.
You start to feel the stress leaving you by stepping back in time walking into the heart of this ancient village. The New Inn and the village is only accessible by walking down the steep cobbled street that winds down the centre of the village, carved out of a cleft in the cliff centuries earlier.
If you were to observe photographs of the New Inn from the 1890s, you would notice the reception sign was on the left side as you walk down the street. When, in 1910, Christine Hamlyn decided to renovate she moved the reception, restaurant and bar to the right side of the cobbled street and the Arts and Crafts style was adopted.
This all goes a long way to making a visit to the New Inn interesting and very special.
The New Inn can provide a porter to take your luggage down from the Visitor Centre car park if you phone to book a time in advance of your arrival date.
You have the right to cancel within seven days of your contract with us, or seven days of your visit (whichever is the longer). If you cancel your booking, you will have your payment returned providing cancellation is made 48 hours prior to arrival.
Sit out on the veranda and watch the world pass you by. Why not order a coffee or fresh lemonade. Then away from all the hustle and bustle of the high street curl up on the sofa and read the paper, play a game or just chill out.
