Welcome to the Hamlyn’s B & B
Hamlyn’s Bed & Breakfast, named after Christine Hamlyn who is widely known as the saviour of Clovelly, as she saved many of the cottages and the village from ruin in the last century. Situated opposite the New Inn, right in the heart of the village, it offers simple, homely accommodation. For years Hamlyn's has been frequented by walkers, groups of divers and mariners as it is quiet and there are amazing views of the bay as you walk down to it. Hamlyn's, unlike many B&Bs, offers its guests full use of the bar and other facilities at the New Inn.

Rates at the Hamlyn's are very competitive and can be booked online through the New Inn's Booking button. Some rooms have shared bathrooms so it is advisable to know if your room does before arrival. The New Inn reception has bathrobes that can be hired for a small cost during your stay. This is quite popular so it's advisable to pre-order when making your booking.
Arriving at Clovelly to stay in Hamlyn's: Please follow the signs for all Clovelly traffic and park outside the Visitor Centre. Either come through the Centre, if open, or via the red gate to the side of the centre, if closed. This will lead you down to the cobbled street. Wander down and when you reach the Queen Victoria fountain, follow the street round to the left and you will see the New Inn and Hamlyn's right in front of you.
